Have you tried sniffing around there after (or during) a shower? An ex of mine smelt very similar twice but I never got round to checking out what the cause was (the next time (after the second time) I smelt her, was fine, then we broke up). I imagine it's just the same sort of idea, just CO (crotch odour). If it is only one instance, I wouldn't let it bother you, but if it happens again, shortly afterwards talk to her about it (i.e. maybe start with, do my balls smell bad?) as she's going to find out one day, may as well be with you.
